Junk removal Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are you licensed and insured?
A: Yes. Established as a Limited Liability Corporation. Proof of Insurance is happily provided upon request.
Q: How much does junk removal cost?
A: Junk removal fees are based on volume. Our popular $90 haul away rate includes one team member, 15 minutes of Load Time, and remove up to 2 cubic yards of your stuff (approximately the back of a truck).
Q: What is Load Time?
A: Every 2 cubic yards includes 15 minutes of labor to quickly remove your stuff. Extra time necessary is billed at $65/hour, charged in 15-minute increments.
Q: Are taxes included in the junk removal fee?
A: Unless otherwise specified in writing, no. A combined city, county and state tax of 9.85% is added to all junk removal fees.
Q: Do the rates decrease with additional volume?
A: Yes. Volume Rates decrease on loads that are 10 cubic yards and more. Call for details.
Q: What types of junk do you remove?
A: We remove your clutter, furniture, appliances, yard waste, construction debris, old electronics, and more. If you’re unsure, just ask!
Q: What types of junk do you NOT remove?
A: We do not remove hazardous materials, including chemicals, asbestos, or biohazardous waste.
Q: Are there any items that have an extra fee, and why?
A: Additional charges may apply for items that require special handling or disposal, such as tires, appliances, batteries, mattresses, or large amounts of construction debris. These extra fees are due to the higher disposal rates that we are charged for these items. We ensure transparency by informing you of any potential extra charges before the work begins.
Q: What other factors may result in additional hauling fees?
A:In addition to specific item disposal costs, extra fees may apply in the following situations:
Distance to the truck: If items are far from the truck or in a location that’s difficult to access, additional charges are billed at $65/hour, charged in 15 minute increments
Second-floor or attic removal: Items requiring removal from upper floors or hard-to-reach areas are billed at $65/hour, charged in 15-minute increments.
Limited access: If the property has narrow paths, steep inclines, or difficult terrain, extra charges may apply for the additional effort required to safely transport items.
Heavy or bulky items: Particularly large or heavy items that require extra manpower or equipment may also lead to additional fees.
Q: Do I need to move everything to the curb?
A: Anything that can be done to make the load time as quick and easy for you and us will ultimately save you money.
Q: Do you recycle or repurpose what you haul?
A: Yes! We try to donate, recycle, or repurpose anything we can.
Q: How do I schedule a pickup?
A: You can book online, call us, or shoot us a message. We offer flexible scheduling across Sedona and the Verde Valley.
